Technologies used

Perl

Perl served us during the transition from the old to the new site (this one :). We had to "translate" the format of the content and do mass changes to the links. Also the site uses a custom simplistic CMS engine also powered by Perl.

Web Template

The design of the site is based on an open source web template (HTTP and CSS), we found at Open Source Web Design. We chose a web template, originally designed by Arcsin and we modified it to fit our needs.

Image Editing

All graphics used were created or edited with Inkscape and Gimp. The University Of Piraeus logo was retrieved from the site of the university.
