Welcome to my personal website
I obtained my PhD in Informatics from the Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus, Greece, under the supervision of Associate Professor Yannis Theodoridis. I also hold a diploma in Civil Engineering and an Msc in Geoinformatics, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
Currently, I am member of the Database Group at the Information Systems Laboratory, University Of Piraeus while my research interest is focused on physical aspects of spatial and spatio-temporal databaes.
I am also partner of FOTOPO SA where I am involved in several GIS-related projects as Software Developer and GIS Consultant. More information about my professional experience can be found here.
I have co-authored several papers in conferences and journals. I have also been a reviewer for several journals and have served as external reviewer in several conferences in the past.
